11/17/2023 0 Comments Red lobster menu with prices 2021![]() ![]() We then waited for a server to take our order - we then waited some more. Once seated, we took a quick look through the menu to see what fresh fish were available. so the place was still pretty much empty. We normally come just after opening to avoid the lunch rush - today, we got here about 11:05. Usually, the food is fresh with reasonably sized portions, matched with good service - not today. We eat at this Red Lobster every couple weeks or so. We'd swear off coming back, but as seafood restaurants here in town are few and far between (well there aren't any others really, except fast food joints), we'd eventually come back and maybe get a good meal (or maybe not) which would start the cycle all over again.įrankly, you might as well wait to go to Indy for some seafood and just say no to this place. The shrimp cocktails were now just dumped in a couple paper cups - there were a couple largish shrimp on top, but the rest were about half the size, so no wonder they didn't bother trying to present them as before - they'd have looked even more pitiful than they already were.īasically, these experiences mimic what we used to see as a regular dine-in customer - many was the time that we'd have a good meal here, only to be followed by two or three horrible ones. This time however, the two anemic crab cakes were about half the size of the previous go and were swimming in grease (pretty nasty). The crab cakes, while not huge were good sized and fresh tasting as well.Ī few weeks later, we decided on a repeat of the crab cakes and shrimp cocktails. ![]() This actually was a good choice - the shrimp cocktails were made up of some good sized, fresh chilled shrimp served in nice ice filled containers that kept them and the cocktail sauce chilled and even made for a pretty presentation. The sides here are never very good, so we just went with a couple of shrimp cocktails and the new crab cakes appetizer, adding an order of the cheddar biscuits. The second time, we decided to do something different. were okay, but as it took them over 20 min after the scheduled ready time to bring the food up from the kitchen, everything was stone cold (suspect it had just been sitting back there until they ran out of other things to do). The fish was well past its prime, very very fishy tasting, but fortunately there wasn't much of it, so. The first time, got the grilled salmon and breaded shrimp entrees. Since the pandemic started, have visited this place three times for carryout. Spoken from someone who has been eating there since they opened the store. Hate to leave a neg review but it is what it is. I didn't even check the receipt to see if I had to pay for it. They did get the order wrong again, but this time they threw in an order of broccoli. We won't be getting carryout there anymore. My husband's Caesar was swimming, limp in dressing, not cold, and his only comment was. ![]() The slaw was small in portion and and I threw out most of it. This had been placed on a bed of limp, tasteless, what they called French Fries. The fish was encrusted in in unbelievably thick breading which was crisp on the outside and mushy, like undercooked, on the inside and then there was the fish, what there was of it. That was the worst fish-and-chips I have ever eaten at any restaurant in my life and I am a baby Boomer. This is our 3rd or 4th attempt to pick up carry out from this place and it is decidedly inferior quality, preparation, and portion size to what you get in the store. My husband got You picked 2: scallops wrapped in bacon, Walts favorite shrimp with a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. My order was fish-and-chips and it came with coleslaw. We even called ahead before our last carry order to ask for fresh salads, full portions, etc. I don't know what is going on there but they need to fix a few things.
